Welcome Back: Season Is Here at The Dunes

Season Is Here

The days are getting a little cooler, the snowbirds are starting to land, and the island is coming back to life. Season on Sanibel has officially begun, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our members and guests back to The Dunes.

Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re visiting for the very first time, here’s what you can look forward to this season.

On the Course

Our grounds crew has been hard at work getting the course ready for the busy months ahead. Palm-lined fairways, sparkling water views, and greens that roll true make every round feel like a getaway.

Early mornings are a local favorite. Grab a sunrise tee time, enjoy the calm water, and finish before the afternoon heat. Our junior golfers have been putting in work too, and it’s been a joy watching the next generation fall in love with the game.

Tennis, Dining, and the 19th Hole

The Dunes is more than golf. Our tennis courts are ready for everything from friendly doubles to competitive match play.

After your round or match, walk across the bridge to the clubhouse. Settle in on the patio with a cold drink and a bite to eat while you swap stories about the putt that almost dropped.

Island Life, Up Close

One of the things that makes The Dunes special is that you’re never far from Sanibel’s natural beauty. Herons, egrets, and other wildlife are regular visitors to the course. Recently, a coyote even stopped by to watch a few groups play through.

As always, we ask that everyone enjoy our wild neighbors from a distance, keep pets leashed, and never feed the wildlife. It’s part of what keeps Sanibel wild and wonderful.

New in the Pro Shop

Our pro shop is stocked for season with new Dunes logo gear in black, white, and pink, plus apparel to keep you cool on the course. Be sure to check out our sale items while they last. They make great gifts, too.

See You on the Course

Tee times fill up quickly during season, so book early to lock in your favorite times. Call the pro shop or stop by to reserve your spot, and follow us on Facebook for course updates, events, and the occasional wildlife sighting.

Welcome back to The Dunes. We’re glad you’re here.
